Drone footage from last year shows the extent of the long-term, drastically low water levels of Cape Town's largest reservoir.
This year the Cape Town water crisis is worsening after years of severe drought.
Authorities have announced plans to tighten water restrictions, limiting water supply to 50 litres per person, per day.
According to reports, residents have been told the taps will be turned off in early April if the drought continues.
From that time - the so-called "Day Zero" - water will only be distributed from 200 collection points across the city and limited to 25 litres a day.
This aerial footage of Theewaterskloof dam dates from May 2017.
