Tram Pickpocket Apprehended by Hungarian Police 'Within Minutes'

Hungarian police said a pickpocket was apprehended “within minutes” after he stole a wallet from a sleeping man on a tram in Budapest on January 28.

This footage shows the man grabbing the wallet from the dozing passenger before stepping off the tram. A man who appears to be a plainclothes police officer or a security guard alerts the sleeping passenger, and the thief is apprehended by officers in the latter half of the video.
