Strasburg Rail Road: Two Trains on the Santa Express

The Strasburg Rail Roads Santa Express train excursions in December new were hauled by 2-6-0 Mogul #89, and 4-8-0 Mastodon #475. Number 89 is a veteran of the Canadian National Railway, constructed in 1910 by the Canadian Locomotive Company. Number 475 is an ex-Norfolk & Western locomotive, built in 1906 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia. Both locomotives were wearing flags in remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.\r

Note: 89s whistle is a CB&Q 5 chime. #475s whistle is a PRR 3 chime off Long Island Railroad 39. \r
