Tools and Techniques for Effective Communication:\r
1. Words: Be choosy with your words. Words have different meanings and connotations. People interpret words differently. Some words have charge!\r
2. Voice tone and inflection: Your vocals can enhance or deter your message. More often the tone of your voice sends more of a message than the words you speak. T is something that is achieved through tone and inflection!\r
3. Body language: These are the signals that we send with our posture, body, spacing, stance, and facial expressions. This sends much more of a message than words or voice. Being cautious of your body language is crucial to your connections. \r
a. Negative body language: avoiding eye cont, standing too close or too far, hovering over them, multi-tasking while conversing\r
b. Positive body language: eye cont, leaning towards other person intently, nodding and other feedback, reing so they know youre listening\r
