Winter storms swamped a camp for displaced people in Zayzun, west of Dara, Syria, creating muddy and unlivable conditions on January 26.

Speaking in the video, a man says, “As you can see, the camp can’t withstand the winter season or the hot season,” gesturing to tents sitting in mud.

Most of the people in the camp are Palestinian refugees in Syria, displaced from their homes in Jaleen by fighting between Syrian opposition and Islamic State forces, local news reports said. Credit: Qasioun News Agency via Storyful
