The Bangalore and Mysore Police department have lately been reprimanding two-wheeler riders for wearing a non-ISI helmet while commuting in the city. Imported helmets such as DOT, ECE, SNELL were banned while riding in Bangalore and Mysore.
Some of the locally manufactured and non-ISI certified helmets were confiscated and were even destroyed. Recently, two-wheeler riders have taken to social media to vent thier anger about the ban on non-ISI helmets Bangalore rule.
