No Lye Easy Castile Liquid Soap - A Play on Words - No Lie!

How to make a great, cheap liquid, no-lye Castile Soap - This is a great money-saving recipe that produces a great finished product, Liquid Castile Soap for just pennies. This is a wonderful gift item too. \r
\r
True Castile Soap is made of Olive Oil and Lye so this is not a true castile soap since Kirks is made of coconut oil. For those who are so literal in their thinking and comments, the lye was already incorporated into the Kirks Castile Soap - Thus, to make this recipe, there is no lye needed. \r
\r
Heres what I used:\r
\r
2 Bars Kirks Castile Coconut Soap (Walmart sells them here 3 Bars for about $3.50) NOTE: You can also use the left over tiny pieces of soaps - it doesnt need to be Castile soap - any bar soap will work with this application it just may need adjusting of the liquid used - Just call it Liquid Soap ! :-)\r
1/2 Gallon Filtered or Distilled Water (Boiling)\r
1 TBSP Vegetable Glycerin \r
1/2 tsp essential oil - Optional\r
NOTE: After the soap sat for a few more days in the pump bottle and storage container, it continued to solidify. I simply added a little more water and shook the bottle to loosen the soap up.
