Atlanta Police Department officers rescued a dog from a January 8 apartment fire and named the dog Smokey. This body-cam footage shows the officer finding and then carrying the dog away from the blaze.
Once the officer found the dog, she wrapped the dog in her coat while an emergency medical technician provided the pup with oxygen. The dog was resuscitated and turned over to Fulton County Animal Services for an overnight stay at a veterinary hospital.
