A New South Wales Police helicopter got upclose with bushfires burning at the Royal National Park, south of Sydney, on January 20. More than 100 firefighters were deployed and water bombers were used to douse the flames.
The park was closed as the fires spread over 664 hectares, according to New South Wales Rural Fire Service. At least 200 people were rescued from nearby areas and beaches, 9News reported.
