Volvo S 80 Successful Throttle body fitting no reprogramming.

I had always been told that if one replaced a Throttle body on any Volvo I would need to have it reprogrammed , let me tell you this is nonsense the new one on my vehicle has been there now for 12 months and had no programming at all.
