Violeta Castillo es una cantautora argentina que conjuga la predilección por la canción como formato universal con el interés por experimentar con nuevas estructuras. Sus canciones no suelen seguir el patrón estrofa-puente-estribillo, y sin embargo, más allá de diferentes registros que pueden moverse entre la balada amorosa, el soul y cierta orientación electrónica, son indudablemente pop.
Luego de 3 EPs, en su primer album Errorws de Tipeo, Violeta Castillo revela un costado más experimental y nerd, donde conviven sintetizadores, baterías programadas y letras más verborrágicas en una libre e infantil aproximación al rap.
Violeta Castillo is a singer songwriter from Argentina. Her songs do not usually follow the stanza-bridge-chorus pattern, but they're undoubtedly pop nevertheless, beyond different registers that can move between the love ballad, the soul and a certain electronic orientation.
After 3 EPs, in her first album ¨Errorws de Tipeo¨, Violeta Castillo reveals a more experimental and nerdy side, where synthesizers, programmed drums and verbal lyrics coexist in a free and childlike approach to rap.
