Queensland snake catcher Stuart McKenzie was called in to deal with a legged reptile for a change on January 17.
In this footage, he is seen catching a large goanna, or lace monitor, from under the bed in a Sunshine Coast home.
McKenzie said the reptile had been “harassing the chickens” in a family’s yard, but, when the homeowner decided to try and scare it off, got into the house. It was soon under the bed in one of the kid’s bedrooms, he said. Yikes. Credit: The Snake Catcher 24/7 – Sunshine Coast via Storyful
