An EgyptAir flight 804 from Paris to Cairo with 66 passengers and crew on board crashed in the Mediterranean Sea early on Thursday morning off the Greek island of Crete, according to Egyptian and Greek officials. Greece's defense minister said the plane "swerved and then plunged." At a news conference Egypt's Civil Aviation Minister could not rule out terrorism, adding that the likelihood of terrorism downing the plane was more probable than that of a technical issue.
