At least 20 people were killed and 30 more injured when a 117-year-old building collapsed Thursday morning in Mumbai, India. The five-story building was located on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road in Mumbai's busy Bhendi Bazaar area. Its constructor claimed it was dangerous and dilapidated as early as 2011 and urged its inhabitants to vacate. However, nine households were still living in the building, and they became the victims of this tragedy. James Valles reports. (BNO News)
