The newest Powerball jackpot is breaking records. As of Thursday morning, the prize was pushing $700 million dollars, breaking the previous record of $656 million. Upon winning, a contestant has the option of receiving a lump sum of $428 million, or an annuity of the $700 million payable over 29 years.
