Plane In Turkey Skids Meters Away From Black Sea

A Pegasus Airlines flight skidded off the runway of a Turkish coastal airport, down a steep slope on the edge of the Black Sea, ending up just a few meters from the water’s edge. None of the 168 people on board was hurt in the incident. The flight from Ankara was making its landing at the Black Sea city of Trabzon when the incident occurred. One passenger said, “There was a huge panic, people were shouting.” Video on social media showed fire crews pumping water over the plane.
