According to the Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Colbert recently “launched his ‘campaign’ for consideration in Trump’s ‘Dishonest & Corrupt Media Awards, which the president announced via his personal Twitter account.” Colbert stated, “Personally, I'm excited for your Dishonest & Corrupt Media Awards or, as we call them in the business, the Fakies." Colbert even bought a Billboard that’s featured in Time Square advertising the Trump’s farcical Dishonest & Corrupt Media Awards.
