The Catholic Church and a local construction company continue to feud in the courts. Attorneys for J.A. Tiberti Construction Co. want a trustee to oversee the bankruptcy case of Bishop Gorman High School's landlord. The landlord is a nonprofit controlled by the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has resisted paying $29 million owed to Tiberti. Tiberti finished a $75 million building for the high school in 2009. Bishop Gorman was founded in the 1950s.
