Eleven hostages were released after an armed suspect entered a Kharkiv, Ukraine, post office said to be wearing explosives on Saturday, December 30. The suspect was later arrested.
According to reports, the man entered the post office at 3pm and took the hostages. After negotiations, he initially released five. A few hours later, all 11 hostages were released and the suspect was detained without incident. The motive for the hostage situation was under investigation.
