Motorcycles were used to attack security checkpoints to the north and east of Manbij, Syria on December 29, resulting in the deaths of two people.
The first attack occurred on Friday at a northern checkpoint used by civilians and involved a motorcycle being rigged with explosives, according to reports from Xeber and Hawar News Agency. Two people were reportedly killed.
Kurdish news agency Furat FM reported another attack occurred when a suicide bomber detonated himself at another checkpoint in the city’s east, the second attack resulted in no civilian or military casualties.
