Kodachadri is one of the beautiful mountain peaks of Karnataka. It is located in the west of Shimoga district, with an altitude of about 1343 meters above the sea level. It is also recognized as a natural heritage site by Karnataka government.
Literal Meaning of Kodachadri is “Jasmine of Hills” in the native language of Karnataka. The Place is famous numerous waterfalls and mountain peaks and One of the most famous waterfalls – “Hildumane Falls” is located right in the centre of the valley.
