The Coast Guard and members of a mountain rescue team assisted two climbers stuck on an icy ledge on Crib Goch, Snowdonia, on December 26.
Authorities received the call for help just after 1:30 pm, according to a Facebook update from the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team. It took about two hours for eight crew members to rescue the pair using a Land Rover and a Coast Guard helicopter.
The Coast Guard reported that the climbers were not properly equipped for the terrain but did not suffer any injuries. Credit: Maritime and Coastguard Agency via Storyful
