In a statement this weekend, UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen says many players who elect to skip bowl games before declaring for the NFL Draft are unfairly maligned by fans and the media. Rosen, who will sit out of the Bruins' Cactus Bowl matchup against Kansas State this week, compared his situation to that of running backs who have received criticism in the recent past for doing the same thing, such as Carolina's Christian McCaffrey and Jacksonville's Leonard Fournette.
