Bye, Siggy!
After a brutal season of cake throwing, fighting over Margaret Josephs' perceived anti-semitic remarks, and getting kicked out of a restaurant in Italy, Siggy Flicker has quit the Real Housewives of New Jersey, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“Siggy had enough,” a show insider dished. “She doesn’t need the money, so she quit. She and Bravo came to a deal that let her out of her three-year contract a year early.”
Flicker, a decades-long friend of Teresa Giudice, was furious with the way she was portrayed on the show throughout the season.
“She wasn’t going to let the production company destroy her reputation any longer," the source told Radar.
Flicker and Josephs battled from the first day they filmed together in Boca Raton, Florida and Flicker lashed out about her RHONJ cast member, previously telling Radar Josephs could “go f**k” herself.
The show insider shared more about Flicker’s decision to cut the cord.
Flicker, whose father was a Holocaust survivor, was enraged when Josephs said to her: “Hitler would have not killed me. Does that make him a good person?” during an argument.
But the insults went even further, the insider told Radar.
“Siggy is done with the show. She was horrified by Margaret’s Hitler comment. But more than that, Margaret brought up Siggy’s daughter during the trip to Italy. No one should attack children. And Margaret did. And that was covered up too by the producers. Siggy didn’t get a fair edit the whole season.”
Flicker filmed the reunion with the rest of the ladies in early December, but made the decision not to return shortly thereafter.
“Siggy made it clear that she wanted off the show. There was no way she was going to stay around. She quit and she doesn’t care.”
