More than 120 countries in the United Nations condemned US President Donald Trump's decision to declare Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The UN General Assembly largely voted in favor of a resolution calling for the United States to drop the declaration.
According to the vote, 128 countries backed the resolution with 35 abstaining; only 9 countries voted against it.
Trump previously threatened to cut off financial aid to any country that voted in favor of the resolution.
