Water Level Rises in Southern Philippines During Tropical Storm Vinta

Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Vinta, which made landfall over the southern Philippines on December 22, has caused flooding in Cagayan de Oro city.

This video shows the high level of the Cagayan de Oro River seen from the city’s Ysalina Bridge. Rappler reported that at least 1,719 people from low-lying areas had moved into evacuation centers in the city.
