Violent Attack Prosthetics Give Cola the Dog a New Lease on Life Cola was attacked with a sword in Thailand for chewing a pair of shoes. He was rescued by John Dalley and his late wife, Gill who brought Cola to the Soi Dog Foundation. They contacted the Scandinavian Orthopaedic Laboratory in the Bangkok Hospital Phuket where Bengt Soderberg made the dog's blades. The Soi Dog Foundation works to end animal cruelty, rescuing more than 15,000 dogs bred to be eaten.
