Specialized equipment captures footage of Ecuador’s Reventador Volcano releasing smoke and lava over a week’s time, from December 1-8.
Dr Richard Roscoe, who operates under the name Photovolcanica, told Storyful the footage shows powerful explosive activity from the summit crater of the volcano and captures static discharges, or volcanic lightning.
