A rally to Qalandia checkpoint in the West Bank against a recent decision by the US government to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital descended into violence on Wednesday, December 20.
The rally came after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called for a “day of rage” against the US decision.
