For some, it's their worse nightmare: getting stuck in an elevator with their work colleagues at a Christmas party.
But that is exactly what happened for these workers in Bristol in the southwest of England on December 16, when 13 of them had to be freed by firefighters after they got stuck in a hotel elevator at their office Christmas party.
The footage shows the coworkers jumping out of the elevator one after the other, some of them cradling their alcoholic drinks. Some even pass their beers to the firefighter to hold as they climb out of the lift.
Some are being helped by firefighters as they are struggling to jump out of the lift.
"Thirteen people got into a lift that had a maximum (for) eight people. The party was on the sixth floor of the Future Inn Hotel in Bristol city centre," writes the filmer.
In a statement to Newsflare, Avon Fire & Rescue said: "One crew from Temple Fire Station was called to a hotel on Bond Street South in central Bristol at 19.45hrs on Saturday 16 December responding to reports that a number of people were trapped in a lift.
"Firefighters spent eight minutes at the scene and assisted 13 people from the lift."
