Shred Kelly started as a jam night band at Fernie, BC's popular Brickhouse Bar and Grill in 2009 performing banjo driven foot-stomping anthems that got the room moving. They played their first paid gig at the top of Fernie Alpine Resort for sandwiches and beer and three years later their accomplishments include playing at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, releasing their full length album "Good...bye July", touring across Canada numerous times, and playing music festivals such as Wapiti, Starbelly Jam, South Country Fair, Beaumont Blues Fest, and Kispiox Valley Music Festival. The years ahead hold a lot of promise for this quickly rising folk rock quintet as they prepare to hit the road again with their second full length release summer 2012.
