The Molodoys
The Molodoys is a Brazilian indie rock band formed in Sao Paulo, 2012. Led by Leo Fazio (guitar and vocals), together with the bassist Camilla Araújo, they performed some gigs around the city of Sao Paulo getting attention in the local underground scene.
The Molodoys recently recorded their first EP, "Metamorphic Fragments", which contains six original songs written by themselves. The songs were recorded with the purpose of being different even from each other, representing the fragments from the title.
Recorded with their friend and producer Gustavo Coutinho, from the band Stereonova, at his particular studio, the EP "Metamorphic Fragments" will be launched in june 2014, but they already released two songs, which you can listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mUOFqTi8Bo
The word "Molodoy" means "young" or "youthful". The band's name came from the british literature, it was taken from a fictional argot, the Nadsat, which is used by the teenagers in Anthony Burgess's novel "A Clockwork Orange" (1962).
The Molodoys:
Camilla Araujo - bass/vocals
Leonardo Fazio - guitar/vocals
Wesley Castellano - guitar/vocals
Jairo Camargo - drums/vocals
