The band was initially formed by old schoolmates Nikhil David and Leo Joy in summer 2011. Leo and Nikhil had been playing in different bands and have performed a number of gigs at different places across the country. In 2010, at one of David’s gigs, they decided since they both have the same idea and the same (stoner) taste in music, to start their own band.
So they met and started jamming on the weekends with various session musicians. As they jammed with different people, the band found its young and talented vocalist, Yamini Joshi, who with her whiskey-laced voice, would sing right through the groove. In the course of time and a series of line-up changes, the band has had sessions with different percussionists/drummers and other musicians to give the sound a much vibrant feel.
