Original singer/songwriter, Liam James Campbell draws influence from a wide variety of sources, but none more prevalent then the personal events which effect his life. He enjoys most genres of music, but in particular he cherishes the sounds of the 60's and 70's. However he also finds himself drawn to modern mainstream acts like the Artic Monkeys, James Bay and Lana Del Rey. Songwriting has always come very natural to Liam, and even at the very young age of 11, where he first began to write his own music. He has an uncanny knack for writing very catchy melodies, and believes melodies, followed closely by lyrics are the two most important parts of his songwriting. Liam finds it very difficult to classify himself into a genre, because he appreciates and writes songs in a wide variety of styles.
Liam's singing ability was first known to the wider public when he participated in a singing competition on the NRL Footy Show when he was contracted to the Penrith Panthers rugby league club. He went on to win the competition which had become a springboard for his music. With that momentum he began to perform at pubs and clubs and eventually became a full time musician. Liam enjoys performing, but his true love is in creating, and finding that magic melody that hasn't been heard before.
