'Magic Shape' (El Segell Del Primavera, 2015) és el més que apropiat nom amb que The Saurs es presenten al nostre balcó. Perquè el seu és un debut polifònic: rock'n'roll, punk, pop i, fins i tot, metall! No és una caixa de pandora, tot just al contrari. La qualitat és gairebé una obsessió pel grup de Barcelona. El trio s'ha guanyat un lloc a l'escena nacional, amb una intensa agenda festivalera i s'han convertit per mèrits propis en companys d'escenari de bandes com Thee Oh Sees. Cançons curtes, xuts d'adrenalina, punk, garatge, rock i un so propi molt elaborat que fan que gairebé oblidem la joventut de The Saurs i tot el que encara els queda per dir i fer.
'Magic Shape' (El Segell Del Primavera, 2015) is quite an appropiate name for The Saurs' first album, since its debut has multiple shapes to it: from rock'n'roll, to punk, pop and even metal. No, it's not chaos, we promise you. Quality is almost an obsession for this Barcelona based band, who's seen their first album published via El Segell del Primavera. The trio has become a regular in the national scene, from playing summer festivals to become openers for bands such as Thee Oh Sees. Short songs, adrenaline shots, punk, garage and a their very own sound had made them what they are. And let's not forget how -almost insulting- young The Saurs are, and all those things they still have to say and do!
