La cançó escollida per Edward Estlin per interpretar al nostre balcó va ser ‘Buy Me An Ounce’; un dels singles d’aquesta jove banda que conté tots els elements que entusiasmen del folk: històries ben explicades, melodies colpidores que contrasten amb la veu trencada de Philipp Schmidt, crescendos infinits i finals intimistes. Cançons rodones que musiquen els poemes d’E. E. Cummings i que aporten nous aires a l’escena folk independent del país.
‘Buy Me An Ounce’ is Edward Estlin’s single and it contains every element we could have hoped for a folk act: good storytelling, heartfelt melodies backing up Philipp’s raw voice, epic crescendos and intimate finales.
