Hugh Jackman will risk just about anything for his art.
Yep, the A-list actor appeared on the Today show to discuss his work in the upcoming film, The Greatest Showman, and what he told us was pretty impressive.
Hugh basically risked his health to get the movie done because he had just had skin cancer removed from his nose… and his doctor told him not to sing.
But Jackman had a big number scheduled the very next day to convince the studio to make the movie. He planned to act out a few scenes and let another actor sing the songs.
But when it happened, Hugh thought he could sing the first few lines… then he sang a few more… and before he knew it, he was singing all the songs.
Then he noticed a trickle of blood dripping down his nose.
Luckily everything turned out okay and the movie got made.
It just goes to show you what these guys and gals will go through to get a project made.
