Thousands of people took part in a march against fascism in Como, Italy, on December 9, in response to anti-immigration action by far-right groups, Il Messaggero reported.

The march was organised by a number of groups, including Italy’s Democratic Party, after members of the far-right Veneto Fronte Skinheads group interrupted a meeting of the migrant rights group Como Without Borders the previous week to denounce “the migrant invasion”.
