A federal appeals court in Virginia heard arguments on December 8th over the latest iteration of the president's travel ban.
During the hearing, the panel of judges posed aggressive questions to the Justice Department attorney regarding recent tweets by the president.
Last week, President Donald Trump posted a string of controversial videos originating from a far-right British extremist.
The videos portrayed Muslims with a violent and negative connotation.
Although the deputy assistant attorney stated the tweets were not legally relevant to the travel ban, the three-judge panel disagreed.
