2017-12-05 38

This dazzling, beweled kippah is set to make one lucky person very happy this Hanukkah season, as it may be the most expensive kippah ever made. The skullcap encrusted with over 3,500 sparkling Swarovski crystals and crowned with a two carat D-colour diamond is expected to fetch £125,000 (€142,000 / $168,500). It's a collaborative work of celebrity artist Toks Daniel with London jeweler and designer Robert Goodman. A kippah, also called a yarmulke, is a traditional skullcap worn by observant Jewish men to fulfill Orthodox requirements to cover the head.
