Former President Obama recently talked about his Twitter presence as compared to others who "use it more often."

During an appearance at a leadership summit in New Delhi, India on Friday, former President Obama talked about a range of issues including Twitter.
According to the Washington Post, in what appeared to a subtle reference to President Trump's Twitter presence, Obama said, "I've got 100 million Twitter followers. I actually have more than other people who use it more often."
To be exact, Obama's Twitter account shows about 97.5 million followers compared to Trump's 43.8 million followers.
Besides mentioning the number of followers, Obama had some general tweeting advice.
"This before you speak. Think before you tweet - same principle." the former president said.
Several weeks back, Michelle Obama also seemed to offer some veiled advice on how to make effective, impactful tweets.
During a talk at the Obama Foundation Summit, she warned against firing off whatever pops into one's mind.
"Most of your first initial thoughts are not worthy of the light of day," she commented.
The former first lady added that she was not "talking about anybody in particular."
