Activists Occupy Apple Store in Paris to Demand Tax Payments from Apple

French protesters occupied the Apple Opera store in Paris on Saturday, November 2, demanding Apple pay a fine of €13 billion and pay its taxes, according to the French activist group Attac France.

Protesters held a banner that read: “We Stop When Apple Will Pay”.

Apple was ordered to pay €13 billion in unpaid taxes by the European Commission in 2016 as a result of a tax deal done with Ireland. Both Apple and Ireland appealed the decision. Credit: Attac France via Storyful
