Dedicated to Russian-born Irving Berlin, who came to America as a child, here is a personal rendition (piano solo) of three of his songs: Russian Lullaby, Let's Face the Music and Dance, and What 'll I Do, concentrating on nostalgic melody and harmony, rather than on jazz-like variations. As a matter of fact, two of them are slow waltzes. Reuben Bloom's "Fools Rush In" concludes the set. Recorded on the last day of November 2017, after the first snow started to fall.
