Don't freak out, but if you plan on getting a Christmas tree, you might want to do it soon. Apparently, the United States is facing a Christmas Tree shortage as a result of the recession in 2008, when fewer trees were purchased. The Associated Press reported that trees take around 10 years to grow, according to the National Christmas Tree Association. which means that trees planted now won't mature until 2027 or so. Better buy one quick before you have to chop one down yourself.
