Indian opener Murali Vijay batted really well on the 2nd day on the 2nd test match at Nagpur and has scored his 16th test 50 in the process. On day one India restricted Sri Lanka to 205 runs. The visitors elected to bat first after winning the toss but kept on losing wickets at regular interval. For India Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma were the pick of the bowlers as they allowed the Lankan batsman to settle in the middle. For Lanka Karunaratne and Chandimal were the top scorers hitting 51 and 57 runs respectively. For India Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja picked 3 wickets each while R.Ashwin picked 4 wickets.
