The River Kent in Kendal, Cumbria burst its banks on Wednesday evening, flooding over a footpath after a day of sustained and heavy rain across the county.
Says the filmer in the video: "The speed of the water is incredible as it heads down into Kendal. It's already up on the footpath in various places. ... The residents here have got to be worried."
Video filmed earlier in the day also shows cars ploughing through flooded roads.
