The FCC is on the verge of ending net neutrality. Their final proposal removes close to all rules, allowing internet providers to experiment with fast and slow lanes and prioritizing traffic. The order will be voted on Dec. 14, and if passed, would remove “burdensome and unnecessary regulations,” according to Trump-appointed FCC chairman Ajit Pai. Pai says that these regulations have deterred "innovation and investment in the expansion of broadband infrastructure."
