Hungarian Police Detain 58 Undocumented Migrants Overnight

Police in Hungary said they detained 58 undocumented migrants in two separate operations in Baranya County on November 22.

Police said a 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of people-smuggling after 28 undocumented migrants from Pakistan were discovered in the back of a minibus he was driving on the M60 motorway near Szajki.

Separately, police said 30 undocumented migrants were arrested near the M6 ​​motorway. Twelve were from Afghanistan, 12 were from Pakistan, and six identified themselves as Indian citizens, police reported. Credit: Hungary Police via Storyful
