Drone footage captured the scene as students at the University of Zimbabwe protested against Robert Mugabe and his wife on November 20.
Students chanted anti-Mugabe songs, as the deadline for his resignation passed at midday local time, raising the possibility of his impeachment.
Students also called for a PhD awarded to Grace Mugabe in 2014 to be rescinded.
According to a local report from 2014, her research on orphanages, part of a master’s thesis, was upgraded to PhD status shortly after she was made head of the Zanu-PF Women’s League.
