Cheap Fish Tanks and Aquariums. One of the easiest and most common is your Local $1 a gallon sale. This is put on by Petco and some other stores as well. Craigslist can also be a good source to get tanks paying roughly 50 cents per gallon.\r

When a fish store is going out of business sometimes it makes sense to buy all the tanks at a large discount to get that fish room started. One Dollar Per gallon is a starting point and typically youd work your way down from there by buying more. \r
